Winter Outlook for European Gas 2023/24

This report aims at assessing the ability of the European gas infrastructure to provide enough flexibility to meet different demand situations during the storage withdrawal season and sufficient flexibility to shippers during the storage injection season. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has triggered energy security concerns in Europe. The report also assesses the dependence of the EU on the Russian supply during winter 2023/24and summer2024 seasons as well as different cases of LNG availability for Europe.
