Global gas trade was up 5% on the last year

Global gas trade was up 5% on the previous year according to the recently published Statistical review of global energy markets. In 2022, international trade of natural gas as LNG represented 56% of all inter-regional traded gas. At a total of 542 Bcm, gas trade was up 5% on the previous year.
