Special report on the Gas Security of Supply Regulation

Over the past six years, the gas security of supply landscape has undergone profound changes, most notably in 2022 after the Russian invasion of Ukraine – in response to which, the European Commission adopted the REPowerEU Plan, aiming to save energy, accelerate the clean energy transition and diversify the energy supply for the EU to fully mitigate its dependence on Russian gas as soon as possible.
