Sta­tus of German gas sup­ply situation – October 19

To secure the gas supply for this winter, there must be a storage level of 95% by 1 November. This target has now already been met at the end of September. Gas consumption in the week beginning 9 October 2023 was 32.6% below the average consumption for 2018 to 2021 and up by 12.7% compared with the week before. Wholesale prices have recently risen again slightly. Businesses and private consumers must continue to adapt to fluctuating prices and a higher price level.
