Cur­rent sta­tus of gas sup­ply in Ger­many – May 25

Weekly assessment by the German Bundesnetzagentur of the gas supply situation in Germany. The gas supply in Germany is currently stable. The security of supply is safeguarded. Although it was possible to prevent a gas deficit situation last winter, preparing for the 2023/2024 winter is a key challenge. It is therefore still important to save gas. Gas consumption in the week beginning 15 May 2023 was 27,4% below the average consumption for 2018 to 2021 and down by 3% compared with the week before.
