Current status of gas supply in Germany – June 29

To secure German gas supply for next winter, there must be a storage level of 75% by 1 September. As of June, this target level has already been reached. German gas consumption in the week beginning 19 June 2023 was 20% below the average consumption for 2018 to 2021 and up by 1% compared with the week before. Wholesale prices have gone up in the last few weeks. Businesses and private consumers must continue to adapt to fluctuating prices and a higher price level.
